As a former in-house counsel for Legal & Compliance at the French global market leader Air Liquide Technical & Medical Gases, I was employed in the Industrial Merchant business unit with a focus on project business in the following divisions:
- Research & Development (R&D)
- Entrepreneurs & Professionals (E&P)
- Manufacturing & Process (M&P)
- Food & Pharma (F&P)
I also looked after the European Procurement Team on all questions relating to direct and indirect purchasing. Transport contracts, service agreements, equipment delivery contracts, standard contracts & general terms and conditions, global framework agreements, intercompany and service level agreements were part of the day-to-day business, as was the negotiation of non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements and cooperation agreements, which required special legal protection of the business-relevant data and information in terms of know-how and IP rights from the first contact with potential cooperation partners.
In my further position as European Counsel, I accompanied the management and teams of the US global market leader Zippo Premium Lighters and Brands in all matters of Europe-wide legal & compliance day-to-day business with a focus on IP, data compliance and sales.
